RESUMO
As lutas do mundo
confessional e secular, impactando no final do século XIX e nas primeiras
décadas do século XX, orientaram a formação de jovens, engajados no universo
intelectual católico. Tanto na Europa quanto no Brasil uma extensa lista de demandas,
seria apresentada pela Sé Romana. Entre eles, uma retomada da influência
clerical. Este artigo é o resultado de um trabalho de pós-doutoramento na
Universidade do Minho (Portugal). Dedica-se a refletir sobre o arquivo pessoal
de Odilon Alves Pedrosa, um dos arquitetos do engajamento católico na Paraíba e
Pernambuco, entre os anos de 1920 e 1940 A constituição de seu arquivo pessoal
é pertinente para a possibilidade de indagar sua trajetória intelectual e a
formação da coleção militante sob sua guarda. Arquivo pessoal que está agora em
fase de diagnóstico e intervenção, mas que forneceu mapeamento e reflexão
necessários para indagar sobre os protagonistas e militantes do período.

THE PERSONAL ARCHIVE ODILON ALVES PEDROSA:
INVESTIGATIVE POSSIBILITIES
ABSTRACT
The
fights of the confessional and secular world, impacting at the end of the
nineteenth century and the first decades of the twentieth century, guided the
formation of young people, engaged in the catholic intelectual universe. Both
in Europe and in Brazil an extensive list of demands, would be presented by the
Roman See. Among them: a resumption of clerical influence. This article is the
result of a postdoctoral work in the University of Minho (Portugal). Dedicates
to reflect on the personal archive of Odilon Alves Pedrosa, one of the
architects of the Catholic engagement in Paraíba and Pernambuco, between the
years of 1920 and 1940. The constitution of his personal archive is pertinent
for the possibility of inquiring his intellectual trajectory and the formation
of the militant collection under his guard. Personal archive that is now in the
diagnostic and intervention phase, but which has provided mapping and
reflection necessary to inquire about the protagonists and militants of the
period.
